The 1900 Pilsner is the first offering in our planned 1900 series of pre-prohibition malts featuring era appropriate, six-row barley. It produces a slightly hazy wort with subtle sweetness, straw, and grain notes. With this barley grown and malted in Kentucky its the perfect base for a Kentucky Common or any pre-prohibition style beer and with just a touch of haze this old style malt is ready for 21st century New England IPA's.
