The 1900 Pilsner is the first offering in our planned 1900 series of pre-prohibition malts featuring era appropriate, six-row barley. It produces a slightly hazy wort with subtle sweetness, straw, and grain notes. With this barley grown and malted in Kentucky its the perfect base for a Kentucky Common or any pre-prohibition style beer and with just a touch of haze this old style malt is ready for 21st century New England IPA's.

SUNRISE PILSNER

Color: 1.8 SRM

Extract FG: 81.3%

Protein: 11.7%

S/T Ratio: 46.8

DP: 185

Alpha Amylase: 51.2

This European style 2-row malt has balanced honey and malt flavors with a subtle grassy note. It packs enough enzymes to support high level adjunct additions and high gravity brewing.

MUNICH MALT

Color: 17 SRM

Extract FG: 80.1%

Protein: 11.7%

Our German style 2-row Munich malt has a rich malty flavor, with hint of chocolate and caramel. Great for Marzen, Oktoberfest, Bock, and other beer styles needing additional color and aroma.

BOURBON COUNTY DISTILLERS

The Bourbon County Distillers malt is a 2-row malt with mild honey and malt flavors. Lightly kilned to provide enough enzymes to support unmalted grain additions. Our Kentucky grown and malted barley is a great a way for Kentucky distillers to create a 100% locally sourced grain bill.
